Answer: The writer’s salary was raised to 50 dollars per month. He wanted to save it for his future use. Therefore, he decided to keep it in the bank.

Answer:  Mr. Montogomery was the accountant in the bank. He was a tall, cool devil. The very sight of him rattled the writer.

Answer: When the author rushed out of the bank, the bank staff made a roar of laughter at his blunders. 

Question 10: Why did people think he was some invalid millionaire?
Answer: They thought him some invalid millionaire because some body gave him a Cheque book, and some one told him how to write it.
